What We Believe

 

 

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, supernaturally  inspired by the Holy Spirit, inerrant in it's original manuscripts, and they are Spirit and Life.

We believe that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that these three are one God.

We believe that God is the absolute and sole creator of the universe and that creation was by divine utterance.

We believe that God, by His sovereign will and out of love for men, sent Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners. 

We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man. That He was born of a virgin and that He lived a sinless life; He was crucified, died as a penalty for our sins, and was raised from the dead bodily on the third day. We believe He ascended to the Father’s right hand where He is the head of the church and intercedes for believers, and from whence He is coming again personally, bodily, and visibly to this earth to set up His kingdom.

We believe Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin and redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.

We believe Men are saved and justified on this single foundation: that salvation is entirely apart from good works, baptism, church membership or man’s efforts. 

It is of pure Grace!.

We believe that a true believer is eternally secure and cannot lose his salvation, but that Sin can interrupt his fellowship with God. 

We believe all who receive Christ become joint heirs with Him, and at death, their spirits depart to be with The Lord.

We believe the highest call to the believer is intimacy with the Father, through the Son by the enabling power of the Holy Spirit. 

​

We believe that the goal of every Christian should be to become a disciple of Christ by growing toward spiritual maturity through the knowledge and the application of the Word of God and submission to the Holy Spirit, who seals all believers at the moment of salvation.
